I do not believe any parameters apply. If you bounce a message, the entire thing gets sent - you cannot have only pieces of it go. If the recipient cannot understand MIME email, that's another problem all together. If you bounce a message that has a .doc attachment, the recipient gets a message with a .doc attachment.
