I agree about that, if done properly (see below).

Yes, but you would need the keyboard to go back to the index or select
another article, and I don't think this is a good thing: when the mouse
is used, it's better to be able to do most operations with it. I think
that only some parts of the terminal should be clickable. Or anything
could be clickable (then the behavior depends on the program), but you
should still be able to mark a selection without the keyboard (when the
mouse button isn't immediately released, it shouldn't be interpreted as
a click).
