Hmmm, actually not weird at all. If the mailing list address is in the To: header, it's going to be the reply address whether you use 'L' or 'r' to reply, if it's in the CC header, then only if you *incorrectly* use 'r'. Increasing the chances that you're not using the list-reply feature. As I said, try Shift+L (the correct way of replying to a 'known' mailing list). Use 'r' when replying to private emails.
