Many thanks, this is just what I was looking for. Here is the
exact command I used :
mutt -Rf in -e 'push
"<tag-pattern>^<enter><tag-prefix><copy-message>out<enter>y<enter><quit>"'
"y<enter>" is because Mutt asks for confirmation before
appending to or creating a folder...
