I just discovered the Attach: header that you can add while editing an outgoing mail. The number of times I have blushed after sending mail with xyz attached .. and no attachments :) Now there is no excuse of waiting till you get to the Composer to attach files - you can do it in vi using the ^Xf which completes file names.
