When you send mail to a known mailing list, Mutt will include a
Mail-Followup-To (MFT) header, if you have MFT's enabled
($followup_to).  If you are subscribed, the contents of the header
will be only the list address.  If you are not subscribed, the header
will have both the list address and your own address in it.

In replies, the behaviour is a little bit more complex, but the idea
is the same.

The point of the header is to tell anyone who does a reply to the email
where list replies should be sent.  If you're subscribed to the list,
you don't need a copy sent to you privately, but if you're *not*
subscribed to the list, then you do want to get a private copy of any
replies.
