Unfortunately, the local file/directory browser doesn't know about
there possibly being sub-folders/directories inside Maildirs. It will
always auto-open a folder as a folder, if it detects that an entry is
a folder.
The best way to avoid this is to perhaps create symlinks to/from all the
subfolders, and use a different directory..
