Ok. But, you also have to figure out if that mail has come from the
server or not.
Most probably, you must also be using some imap-aware program like
pine (which is also by UW, I think) to read your mails from your local
machine. That has nothing to do with your imap server.
Or worse, somebody is polling your mailbox with the keep option:-)
