NOt anymore it isn't.
But with the rapid changes in mutt (both in adding new features and
variables) and changing behaviour, there's hardly a window lbg enough to
get a book out.
Estimate about 6 months to write a book from scratch.
In order for the book to sell well it should stay up to date for at least 6
months, preferably longer .
If/When mutt becomes stable in the sense that existing behaviour will not
change in at least a 6 month period there moght eb a chance to get o'Reilly
interested again.
But I suggest getting a good online documentation set first, and if there
is a bookable option, use that information as a starting point.
(note, this does involve some more or less complicated (c) issues with
contributors to the online docs ...
