Hello,

Mutt's filter command from the compose menu is very useful, however it has
this 'little' drawback of being completely unsafe. If the filter aborts with
an error, your message is gone to the bitbucket.

Is there a reason why mutt can't be told to disregard the filtering attempt
should the filter return an result code other than 0 ? This looks like a
highly useful feature to me.

Currently, I have a "muttfilter" shell script which does this safeguarding
(I HATE to lose messages I am trying to cleansign without PGP/MIME just
because I mistyped the passphrase 3 times).
