You know, you can -- sort of -- do this already. Just change the
$sendmail variable to your script, and make sure it calls the real
mail sending program at the end. It's rather un-interactive (seeing as
you can't define it in the compose menu except with a : command) but it
can be done with a little hacking. And this need is probably so
specialized that a little hacking is justified for it. :-)
