Sounds like whatever you use for editor is not present, or is exiting
immediately. So Mutt runs the editor, which exits, and then Mutt sees
that the stub file that it provided for the editor has not been changed,
so it asks you that question.
I'd looking into your $editor setting... An editor that you use on your
home computer might be even present on your work computer, or it might
behave differently.

Well, you'd better make sure that the machine also has a working
mail sending program, since Mutt doesn't do SMTP to a remote server.
However, this is a completely separate issue from the above. It might
affect you once you get the editor setting sorted out.
