While we're discussing mailing from the command line, maybe someone can
offer an insight into what might cause this and especially how to go
about finding the problem source:
wizard@chamber:~> mutt wizard -a /dev/null -s foo < /dev/null
stty: standard input: Not a typewriter
stty: standard input: Not a typewriter
stty: standard input: Not a typewriter
wizard@chamber:~>
So for some reason when mailing from the command line, Mutt calls
something that eventually executes stty. I do have a single stty
command in my .login and one conditionally executed in .cshrc, but
commenting out either seemed to have no effect. There's also no
stty commands in the system-wide tcsh settings. So I'm baffled,
where are these stty calls coming from?
Thanks,
Mikko
