Hello,
I was wondering if it would be possible to order the mailboxes listed
in the Mailboxes chooser (the one you get with c<tab><tab>) in the order
they are given in the .muttrc mailboxes command? That way I could put
the more important folders on top and less important near the bottom.
The time-based sort doesn't work because I use Maildirs mixed with some
mbox folders, and alphabetical listing isn't even nearly what I'd prefer
either. In fact, with Maildirs anything except alphabetical sort is
pretty meaningless. I'd really like to be able to specify the order
myself, and doing that with the order in the mailboxes command would be
easy.
I have no idea how difficult or easy this is to implement in the code
though... But I'm guessing I'm not the only one who would prefer to
choose their own sort order for the incoming mailboxes?
It's of course possible that this is already possible with some setting
and I've just overlooked it, but I don't think so.
