I read mail on more than one machine. I can have fetchmail leave the
mail on the server, but then it doesn't get deleted from the server when
I delete it.

The scenario is this:

Mail is a centralized IMAP server. I read mail from my office machine
(which is behind a firewall, sadly, so I can't telnet to it from the
outside world) and my home machine. (Actually, multiple office machines and
multiple remote machines). The rest of the office is using Outlook with PGP
support, but that sends old-style PGP bodies and sets the
Content-type: header to "text/plain". That's broken, but it's what I have
to work with. I've written some Vim macros to encrypt in their broken
style. I'm now trying to have their signatures verified automatically, so
I don't need to hit "|pgpv" to verify.

At the moment I'm giving HJ Lu's PGP kludge patches a try.
