Ag nie! Now that I'm about to start chapter 4.7, I would hate learning
that the manual can be translated automatically. Anyway, I've never
seen one of those translation programs doing a good job, not even a
decent one. The output, unless it's a very simple... extremely basic...
tiny little piece of text, is usually funny... and making corrections by
trying to guess what it means might take longer.
I've been having some help from LuCas (the Linux Spanish transalation
project); the goal is to have the manual translated so that it can be
read by Spanish speakers who don't speak a word of English. While I see
Germans tend to accept anglo-saxon terminology (and Dutch don't even bother
with translations), we usually try to translate all the way down to the last
bit, and that makes it a bit harder.
