Put the following line in your .muttrc and you can reload the .muttrc
with ESC r whenever you want.

macro   index   \er             ":source ~/.muttrc\n" "Reload muttrc"
macro   pager   \er             ":source ~/.muttrc\n" "Reload muttrc"
