Mutt will always check tthhee ccuurrrreenntt ooppeenn
mmaaiillbbooxx for new mail at
every keypress in the index. It uses the "mail_check" variable to
decide if it aallssoo should check all the mailboxes specified by the
"mailboxes" command.
And yes, I think that the manual should be more clear about this topic,
but I don't volunteer to improve it. -- I am more comfortable using C
than English. :)
