#3441: Error "Failed to parse mailto: link"

When I provide a mailto URL on the command line (such as in the new
example from the manual), I get the error:
Failed to parse mailto: link
even with a simpler example (without the subject part).
I've tried with the latest head. I do not get this error with Debian's
version of Mutt.
