The Centre for Digital Music of Queen Mary University of London welcomes PhD 
applications for 2025. Candidates are invited to contact the relevant academic 
by email to elaborate on what the research will entail. In several cases, there 
is a significant opportunity to jointly shape the direction of research.

* S&E Doctoral Research Studentships for Underrepresented Groups (UK home 
applicants, Autumn 2025 start, 6 positions funded across the Faculty of Science 
& Engineering)

* CSC PhD Studentships in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (Autumn 
2025 start, Chinese applicants, up to 8 nominations allocated for the Centre 
for Digital Music)

* International PhD Funding Schemes (Autumn 2025 start, numerous international 
funding agencies)
