Hello,

Nobody can tell me why I get those strange errors? I feel uncomfortable
using a tool if he tells me stuff I don't really understand.

chmod: changing permissions of '/dev/shm': Permission denied
chmod: changing permissions of '/dev/mqueue': Permission denied

Just skip it. This is errors only from first start of MSYS2 when this files created

Are you sure? I get this message each time I run mingw64_shell.bat.

If you see it every time then something wrong with your installation then. Check permissions on this files
"drwxr-xr-x" on both.
Hello,

Maybe you was speaking about the Windows permissions on my folders "D:\Prog\msys64\dev\mqueue" and "D:\Prog\msys64\dev\shm"? Effectively, those files are read only access for non admin users. But I don't understand, does that mean a user need write access in such a path to be able to use Msys2?

I have another problem: I tried to install the mingw64-gcc package and use the compiler directly with Windows, it seems it's not possible to build a 32-bit object file with it, is that normal?
