Thanks for pointing me at this option: I wouldn't have guessed its
existence.
It can solve my initial request if I alias ls to 'ls
--quoting-style=literal'.
Nevertheless, the default behavior has changed at some point.
I was afraid that it was something in msys itself, but if it is the
behavior of ls,
then it is much less a problem to me.
