I'm using the modern skin, but have the same problem with both modern and
classic.

I have no paperclips anywhere.  Neither in the thread pane nore in the
message display area, nor in the message window (gotten from
double-clicking the message subject in the thread pane).

In fact, I'm not even sure where the paperclip is *supposed* to be, since
I've never seen one.  BTW, is there any other way to extract attachments?
