No attachments?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I have can't see attachments in
mail messages.  From what I hear, there should be a paper clip icon
displayed when a message has an attachment, but I don't see anything.
This is really a shame, since Mozilla mail seems to be the most complete
GUI mail client for Linux at this time.

This is mozilla mail 0.9 running on Red Hat Linux 7.1, accessing an 
IMAP mailbox.

Any tips?
