when you log your bug, cc [EMAIL PROTECTED] so she can review the UI
changes.
We're following her specs, see http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/specs/
but that won't stop you from doing the hard part (the backend work) and
adding the pref (see mailnews.js).
it will just be a hidden pref until she decides if (and how) to add it
to the UI.
we've got a bunch of hidden prefs that currently aren't in the UI yet,
or may never be.
