Due to a regression introduced during the necko landing (02-21-2001)- it was sometimes not possible to send messages that were large(with or without attachments) and even if it could be sent they would end up getting corrupted. Opening attachments in those messages could lead to crashes It was also not possible to copy the messages to the sent folder if it was on the IMAP server .
