Sunday morning I was greeted by a cacophony coming from the woods behind
our home. "Our" Red-shouldered Hawks had returned for the 14th consecutive
year, to hopefully nest again. Their piercing calls to one another from the
treetops were muted at times from the unhappy Crows and Blue Jays that were
mobbing them. Maybe they can all reside in peace!
