"Our" Red-shouldered Hawks returned to the nature area behind our home in Chanhassen last Sunday. Assuming they stick around to nest, it will be the 14th consecutive year that a pair of RSH have nested in the vicinity. Their calls are definitely a welcome harbinger of spring for my wife and I.
