A surprising find this morning on our walk upstream from the Dam on the Anoka County side ...

Yellow-rumped Warbler - a solitary bright male, occasionally singing a weak, wispy song; by the ditch at the north end of the park
Common Loon - 1, mid-river above the dam; vocalized once
Hooded Mergansers - 3 in boat launch lagoon
Common Merganser - 1 male, just downstream from dam in eastern channel

We were hoping for Fox Sparrows or Hermit Thrushes, but haven't found any so far.
