"Global" is the operative word. The problem is global, and so the solution must be global. You have to engage people everywhere, at all levels, by any reasonable means possible, to raise awareness, promote understanding, change attitudes, and make effective changes. There's bound to be misunderstanding and disagreement along the way. But keeping theories, studies, and findings in the forefront, so to speak, is the best way to draw attention to the problem and assure people that your motivations are transparent and address the ultimate common good.
