hi..very much thanks to u....ur code is working exactly...bt i have another major problem...xml saving is good..when i click on retreive button the data what stored should be populate in listview control.. as like gridview control in .net in rows and columns format...can u please help me with ur code in detailed as gave solution for previous problem....the same data should be displayed in listview Id Name Description 101 krish manager 102 john clerk like this as like exactly gridview control in .net by using listview or gridview ...i dont know really which control is used as gridview(in .net) alternative control in mono....so,finally the output should display like in gridview(in .net)... so finally all the xml file data should be populate in listview or gridview in mono...
