Hi I have a bone to pick with the m4a installer. I'm setting up a new box and need to install m4a on it. The online installer (is there an offline version btw ?) is nice enough to download and install whatever components I'm missing, but I don't agree with what is being installed at all.
It starts with an outdated Java version (1.6r31) which contains a bunch of pretty bad security issues. Then it continues with the Android SDK Manager release 20 - and then downloads a bunch of stuff for API levels that I couldn't care less for (I only target API 15 and above). I can work around the outdated java by simply installing the latest 1.6 version prior to launching the xamarin installer, but I haven't found a way to get it to use my already installed SDK Manager release 21 with just the features I'm interested in. Is there a way to install this my way?
