if that capability is there, the default option is for email to be turned on, 
not off.  Also, does this turn on email for all posts to the sight?  If not, 
then the option is useless.  

If the example is what is listed below, then the email is still useless.  I am 
not going to go to a site to see if it is something I am interested in.  Do 
this like linkedin does where I get emails about what is happening with a lot 
of content.  Technically, linkedin doesn't give me enough content, but it gives 
me more than what I read below.  I like noisy forums!
