That would be a scenario to avoid, as it would void the warranty like Tom
said, and would add an extra step to setting up the device, not allowing
the client to buy the equipment directly.

The tech support says that the device is supposed to work with Google's
generic driver. I'm thinking that maybe a custom driver already present is
messing with the ADB (I do have custom drivers for Samsung and ZTE). It's
something I'll have to check next monday.
