If those are your two choices, my recommendation would be to use .NET 2 Web
Services, which is complete and fairly stable.  Alternatively, there are
other
approaches you might want to consider, such as Protocol Buffers:

We're still assessing our plans for how to proceed with WCF; however, we
currently
have no plans to implement new WCF features, and will primarily focus any
future
efforts into improve the subset of WCF features that are useful to Mono
for Android
and MonoTouch customers.

If you have tried our WCF stack and are mostly interested in when you will
see
a particular issue fixed, please make sure that a bug has been filed against
the
WCF component for the issue you're encountering:
