Hi Chritresh, I’m one of the PAUSE admins. I’m looking at distributions on CPAN that have permissions anomalies, or have other issues related to not adhering to CPAN conventions.
In 2007 you released your link_NCBI distribution, which has a collection of modules and scripts, used at NCBI. One of the modules is called "file", which clashes with another distribution, that contains "File". Are you still using these modules at NCBI? If so, I would be happy to help you restructure the distribution so that it follows CPAN conventions, and wouldn’t then clash any other distributions. If it’s no longer used or relevant at NCBI, then maybe it can be deleted from CPAN, which would also resolve the problem? Please let me know if you’ve any questions, and how you’d like to progress?
