Hi Oleg, I’ve been in touch with Seyhan, who had the first-come indexing permission on the Date namespace. He was happy for the first-come permission to be transferred to you, so I’ve just done that on Seyhan’s behalf.
Please remember that there may be people using your Panda::Date module, who would appreciate having a documented migration path from Panda::Date to Date. Maybe after you’ve released Date, you could do at least one more Panda::Date release, which marks it as being no longer supported and lists the differences between Panda::Date and Date. And then you could do a blog post to blogs.perl.org about your new distributions, so it will be picked up by Perl Weekly, and then there’s a good chance your Panda::Date users will see the news.
