Hi Uri, It looks like it has been quite some time since maintenance releases have been made to File::Slurp. I wanted to see if you wouldn't mind passing me CO-MAINT privileges so I could work with a few others to get some updates pushed out.
There are a few open issues that could be worked on as well as a few things that could be documented a bit more thoroughly. For example, in the up-coming release of Perl 5.30, some things will break: https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=117005 My PAUSE id is capoeirab and I'd be happy to take on the task of minor maintenance and documentation update releases.
