Hi Thomas
The mail server rejected thor...@cpan.org but I found another address
for you.
I found the option in the PAUSE account settings. It might work in
future.
OK.
I always put the same version in every *.pm file, and when it's time to
upgrade that number, run something like:
That is the safe path, yes. Do you only put that version number into
releases or do you check the updated files into revision control, too,
even if nothing changed but the version number?
I push edits to github very, very often, so any version # change is saved.
And the pressing question for me right now: Should I make a fresh
release with updated verisons in all files right now or can I safely
ignore the PAUSE indexer error report? I didn't notice an issue yet,
besides the complaint from the indexer.
I can't say for sure, but I'd guess you need to see if anyone gets
around to testing the code. If not, then you should upload another
version which gets indexed.
Alrighty then,
Thomas
