Hi Chris, I’m emailing you wearing my PAUSE admin hit. I’m tidying up situations where there is conflict between package names that are now considered by PAUSE to be the same, when looking at permissions.
You have first-come permissions on XML::Toolkit::MetaDescription, which is part of XML-Toolkit. You also have first-come on XML::ToolKit::MetaDescription (capital ‘K’ in ToolKit), and ETHER has co-maint on that. I’m guessing that at some point you used the ToolKit spelling, then changed to Toolkit. Are you happy for me to drop your first-come and ETHER’s co-maint on the unused version of the package name please? PAUSE doesn’t let situations like this occur any more, so I’m tidying up the historical cases, so tool-writers don’t have to worry about handling such conflicts (eg in the future if you transferred first-come on XML::Toolkit::MetaDescription, but maintained it on XML::ToolKit::MetaDescription. Cheers, Neil
