Hi Florian & Damian, I’m emailing you wearing my PAUSE admin hat: I’m working on resolving conflicts caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively. This has left us with some situations where two or more people are owners of namespaces previously considered distinct, and now considered the same.
Damian is owner of the “EVERY” package, which is part of the NEXT distribution. This now conflicts with the Every package, owned by TEODOR, and part of his “Every” distribution. I think this can be resolved in the way you did your other distribution, Damian: since EVERY is a cuckoo package, it could be hidden from PAUSE with the usual trick: package EVERY; In both places where it appears in the module. I couldn’t find a github repo for this, otherwise I would have just sent you a PR. Once a release is done, a day or so later we’d need to delete old releases of NEXT. Then I’d be able to drop both of your permissions on the EVERY namespace, resolve the permissions conflict. Cheers, Neil
