The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List: modid: App::MediaWiki2Git DSLIP: adpOp description: copy MediaWiki page history into a Git repos userid: MCAST (Matthew Astley) chapterid: 23 (Miscellaneous_Modules) communities: Discussed at work. It's a "works for me" that might work for you too.
similar: MediaWiki::API Git::Repository rationale: This shovels page history from MediaWiki::API into Git::Repository. It's a small app, and a format converter so the name fits exactly. The primary reason for doing this was to be able to 'git annotate' the wiki page source, for our internal wiki. I suspect other people may benefit from a tool that can do this (but not for Wikipedia, that has other solutions to search page history).
