Actually, since the original paper on the hashcash function and ALL documentation available refer to it as "hashcash" or "Hashcash", I _really_ wonder what literature you are refering to? Maybe the confusion arises because of "hash cash tokens" are being referred to in a general way sometimes, but that has no relevance to the actual hascash algorithm, or the actual hashcash tokens. "hash cash tokens" != "hashcash tokens", and the latter is what the module calculates and checks.
