Title: Subject: I have a few document management questions

Subject: A few questions

I am contacting you because I have a few questions I would like to discuss with you about your firm, but I did not want to interrupt your busy schedule with a phone call. I hope you do not mind this email and the questions I have.

These five questions should be consultative and informative. Information I collect is not for business or solicitation purposes and I will not supply personal information to any firm not associated to http://docfocused.com. I simply respect your opinion and contribution to our research.

Please answer the following questions as you see fit:

Question 1.

Did you know that the average knowledge worker spends anywhere from 35% to 60% of his/her time searching for the necessary information to do their jobs?

Question 2.

Are you aware of any of the document management systems that exist in the marketplace? Which solutions come to mind?

Question 3

  • Continually refer to documents stored in many different filing cabinets or archive rooms.
  • Frequently have more than 3 people involved in document writing and have difficulties with version control and document access.
  • Need a way of sharing and organizing thoughts and tasks around documents without resorting to mass email.
  • Have documents monitored/audited/regulated by an external organization.
  • Generate documents that are critical to the operation of your business.
