Actually I think I'd prefer this functionality patched into constants.pm. It's small and could be hooked in with almost no overhead via the code that catches invalid names. use constant 'PI:resolve' => 3; The mechanism could be extended to enable setting of any sub attributes (ala perl6). Tim.
