The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:
modid: Mail::CollectUsers DSLIP: idpOp description: collect email adresses of users userid: HOLSTEN (Andrea Holstein) chapterid: 19 (Mail_and_Usenet_News) communities: similar: rationale: The module will help to collect emails of users. It stores (persistent) the names and addresses of users. In addition it also stores the name and address of the friend who gave us the information about the user. The time, when the email address is added to the collection is stored, too. This information can be exploited in two ways: 1. Create a list of addresses, emails can sent to. 2. Find statistics about the brave users, given us the address informations of their friends. So this guys can get a price or so :-) I'm not sure about the name. Actually the module stores and exploits the data of user's emails. But Mail::StoreUsers, Mail::Address:Users aren't obviously not the right names. Mail::CollectUsers emphasizes for what the module can be used. enteredby: HOLSTEN (Andrea Holstein) enteredon: Wed Oct 24 14:55:10 2001 GMT The resulting entry would be: Mail:: ::CollectUsers idpOp collect email adresses of users HOLSTEN Thanks for registering, The Pause Team PS: The following links are only valid for module list maintainers: Registration form with editing capabilities: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=4d100000_2f853c9dd27ab0ad&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_preview=1 Immediate (one click) registration: https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=add_mod&USERID=4d100000_2f853c9dd27ab0ad&SUBMIT_pause99_add_mod_insertit=1
