The following module was proposed for inclusion in the Module List:

  modid:       Config::Pod
  DSLIP:       adpOp
  description: Reads configuration files written in POD
  userid:      JSMITH (James G Smith)
  chapterid:   12 (Opt_Arg_Param_Proc)
  communities:
    [EMAIL PROTECTED]

  similar:
    Pod::POM

  rationale:

    Perl is a language in which the program can fit the user (in this
    case, a programmer). Being tied to obtuse configuration formats with
    poor documentation doesn't help.

    Config::Pod allows configuration files to be written in POD. This
    allows for better documentation of the configuration, with rational
    and caveats easily addable in a manner that allows for easy
    publishing.

    The module is very simple at the moment, ignoring anything that
    doesn't begin with =head(\d)+ or =item.

The resulting entry would be:

Config::
::Pod adpOp Reads configuration files written in POD JSMITH
