Who is complaining about space? Anyone who wants just the latest distributions can already get just that with CPAN::Mini. Mirror time is a one-time cost and only for someone hosting a full mirror. I don't see why shaving some time off that first-time rsync is a big deal. Clutter on search.cpan.org is inside a drop-down box. That's not clutter. Other than fastidiousness, I don't see the big deal. -- David
