Hi all: I write because one of the modules I use in one of my distributions, DBD::SQLite, seems to be abandoned by its maintainer. I am wondering what should be done in such a case, because the backlog of requests in the RT is getting pretty big, and there are some outstanding patches in the downstream Debian package.
I have tried emailing the author; the message did not bounce, but I have had no response from him yet, and I sent that message a week or so ago. So, I ask you all, what should be done about this? Is there indeed anything I can do? Is there a way to request maintainership of a module? Cheers, Jonathan (PAUSE: frequency)
