Hey,

I'm having similar problems but I've fixed the archictecture problems while
compiling..
During compilation, I've forced the architecture:

export ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64"
export CFLAGS="-arch x86_64"

I know one one person who used

export CFLAGS=-m64

but YMMV. It didn't work for me.
This fixed the compilation.. but when I loaded it in my code, it spit out
the following message in my logs:

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _apreq_handle_apache2
  Referenced from: /Library/Perl/5.8.8/darwin
-thread-multi-2level/auto/APR/Request/Apache2/Apache2.bundle
  Expected in: dynamic lookup

dyld: Symbol not found: _apreq_handle_apache2
  Referenced from:
/Library/Perl/5.8.8/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/APR/Request/Apache2/Apache2.bundle
  Expected in: dynamic lookup

Anyone any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hendrik
